2/28 & 3/1 Service Update: CET to operate snow schedules for Bend Fixed Route and Bend Dial-A-Ride. Community Connectors and Rural Dial-A-Ride will operate normal schedules.

Author: Derek Hofbauer | Posted on

Due to continuing inclement weather and priority for safe transportation during hazardous road conditions,Cascades East Transit will operate on a snow schedule for Thursday, 2/28 and Friday, 3/1 as described below. Please note that all time points on schedules are estimates, as service may be affected by weather conditions and/or traffic.

  • Bend Fixed Route and Dial-A-Ride services will operate on a snow schedule. Service begins with regular start times at 6 am at Hawthorne Station. The service then transitions to a snow schedule at 8 am when Bend Fixed Route buses are scheduled to leave Hawthorne Station on the hour. This facilitates a successful transfer from Community Connectors to Fixed Route services.
  • Community Connector services and rural Dial-A-Ride will operate on regular schedules.

CET thanks riders, partners, and the community for utilizing bus services, particularly during periods of inclement weather. CET strives to provide safe, efficient, and reliable transportation services for all users of the system. Dress warm and allow extra time for travel, as schedules may be affected by traffic and weather conditions. Please be assured that CET is operating bus services to the best of its ability in these challenging weather conditions.
