CET recently renovated the parking lot at Hawthorne Station to increase safety, improve accessibility, and add new amenities such as EV charging stations, new bus shelters, covered bike parking, a bike fix-it station, and more. We’re celebrating this milestone by hosting an Open House Event at Hawthorne Station (334 NE Hawthorne Ave.) on Thursday, May 8 from 11 am – 4 pm. Stop by for fun activities, refreshments, transportation information, and tours of our new facility improvements!
The City of Bend’s Accessibility Advisory Committee, Commute Options, and CET are hosting a Walk and Roll Tour on that same afternoon on May 8 from 3:30-5 pm. We’ll explore accessible walking paths and sidewalks in Juniper Park and along Franklin Avenue. The tour will end at Dogwood at the Pine Shed located at 821 NE 2nd St. in Bend.
