Update March 20, 2020:
Starting Saturday, March 21, Cascades East Transit will eliminate fare collection on all CET services to reduce the interaction of passengers with fareboxes and maintain social distance for the safety of our drivers.
Please note that E-fare options through TouchPass will be temporarily disabled starting Friday night, March 20, to ensure customers do not make fare purchases while CET temporarily suspends fare collection.
Cascades East Transit provides Central Oregon public transportation services. From Ride the River in the summer, which transports floaters from the Deschutes River ‘get out’ in Drake Park back to the Park & Float, to fixed-route city bus service and intercity connectors, CET helps provide Central Oregon public transportation services.
Central Oregon and Bend bus fares and tickets can be obtained through several avenues, including cash or credit card sales at CET’s Hawthorne Station and the Redmond Antler office. CET also offers electronic fare (E-fare) products that can be purchased online through TouchPass, Hawthorne Station, or via the TouchPass App for Apple or Android devices. Check out CET’s TouchPass FAQ Guide to learn more about purchasing electronic fare products.
Hawthorne Station is located at 334 NE Hawthorne Avenue in Bend. Bend bus fare can also be paid to CET drivers directly. Paying for bus fares directly requires cash only and exact change at the time of boarding the bus. Please note that all fare products are non refundable and non transferable.
CET offers Bend bus fare discounts for nonprofits, groups, Medicare cardholders and persons with disabilities. CET offers discounts to seniors in Zones 2, 3 and Community Connector. All paper fare products purchased online will be mailed to customers.
