Wheelchair Securement
Under the Americans with Disabilities Act, it is the right of any transit system to require riders using wheelchairs to have their wheelchairs secured. It is the policy of Cascades East Transit that wheelchair securement is required and thereby creates a safer transport for all riders including those using wheelchairs. Anyone refusing to have their wheelchair secured will be denied transportation on Cascades East Transit.
Reasonable Modifications
What is the process for making advance requests?
Whenever feasible, requests for reasonable modifications shall be made and determined in advance. An advance request for reasonable modification is to be sent to:

Cascades East Transit will use its best efforts to respond within two business days of receiving your request. In some instances, additional information will be necessary to process the request. Please ensure your contact information is included with your request
What is the process for making on the spot requests?
Cascades East Transit understands that it may be infeasible for a reasonable modification request to be made and determined in advance. In these instances, ask the the driver for the reasonable modification. Cascades East Transit will use its best efforts to respond to the reasonable modification on the spot.
