How to get to school in the Bend-La Pine School District

Tips for riding the bus

• Get to your stop 5-10 minutes early and wait where the driver can see you.
• As the bus approaches, check the sign above the front window to make sure it’s the route and destination you want.
• Signal to the driver that you wish to board by waving your hand. If it’s dark outside, use the screen of your cell phone to be seen.
• Scan your pass on the validator when boarding the bus.
• Take your seat and if there is a seat belt —buckle up!
• About a block before you want to get off, pull the stop chime cord above your head to request the next stop.
