If you are driving to Hawthorne Station, please stay clear of the bus lanes.
Parking and loading areas are available in the north lot (behind the station) accessed from Irving Avenue.
The Hawthorne Station Safety Improvement Project began in March 2024. Minor exterior work will continue into January 2025. The project redesigned how buses access Bend’s central transit station. More buses will now stop in bus lanes on CET property, easing traffic on the street. Additionally, the project enhanced amenities bringing new bus shelters, heated sidewalks, and other improvements.
