The Joint Committee on Transportation (JCT) is hosting a local tour stop in Bend on September 12 to discuss the need for stable and sufficient transportation funding in anticipation of the 2025 legislative session. The committee is gathering input from the public and community leaders and wants to hear your transportation stories and vision for the future!
When: Thursday, September 12 from 5-7 PM
Arrive at 4 pm to engage with local transportation partners and sign up for public comment!
Where: OSU-Cascades Campus, Ray Hall, 1500 SW Chandler Avenue, Bend
What: Provide public comment and tell your stories about what you value most about our region’s transportation system. Examples include public transportation, accessible infrastructure, active transportation, trails, Safe Routes to School, road maintenance, and other transportation priorities you value the most.
You can also provide public comment virtually (time permitting) by registering here no later than September 11.

The 2025 transportation package will require considerable effort and advocacy from all local governments. The 2017 package created a historic level of investment, with more than $5.3 billion towards transportation infrastructure, funding for transit expansion, and critical safety programs in communities.
