New CET Fares Coming February 2026
Big changes are rolling in! Beginning in February 2026, CET will introduce a new fare system designed to make riding throughout Central Oregon easier, safer, and more reliable for everyone.
Most CET services have been free to ride since 2020, and during that time we’ve worked closely with communities across the region to develop a fair and consistent approach to transit fares. That work is now complete, and we’re preparing for the launch of our new system.
What to Expect
Our updated fare policy is built around convenience, equity, and simple ways to pay. When fares go live in February 2026, riders can look forward to:

Daily fare capping so you never pay more than a set amount per day

These changes will apply to all CET services, including fixed-route buses and on-demand options like Dial-A-Ride.
