TRANSPORTATION VISION 20/20: Commuting Clarity for the New Decade

February 20 11:15 am – 1:00 pm

Venue: Riverhouse on the Deschutes – Convention Center

The City Club of Central Oregon is hosting a forum to discuss the bond initiative placed on the May ballot, which would fund capital projects over the decade that prioritize east-west travel, and pedestrian and bike safety. COIC’s updated Transit Master Plan, will roll out initiatives to be funded by the State’s new transit tax. Come learn how these efforts can improve your travel options across town and across the region.

  • Eric King, Bend’s City Manager
  • Tammy Baney, Executive Director of Central Oregon Intergovernmental Council (COIC)

  • Brenna Visser, Bend Bulletin’s transportation and land use reporter

Extended Q&A: We will continue the conversation directly following the forum with an extended 30 minute Q&A with the speakers and CTAC members for those who wish to stay.
