Please remember that extreme weather conditions may cause service delays and cancellations. Deteriorating road conditions and traffic delays in Bend may warrant CET to divert to a “snow schedule,” during which routes operate on longer frequencies to ensure riders can make their connections. Community Connector route schedules are typically not impacted by inclement weather; however, service delays may occur along these routes.

How we prepare
CET’s buses are ready for winter. Larger vehicles have drop-down chains that can be easily engaged by drivers. All CET Dial-A-Ride vans are all-wheel drive to make sure passengers arrive safely at their destinations. Our hardworking maintenance crews arrive at CET’s main hubs early to plow snow and de-ice walkways. CET also collaborates with the City of Bend to ensure high-frequency transit routes receive plowing priority. CET maintenance crews are also available to remove snow at high-ridership bus stops throughout Bend and the region to make sure riders can access their stops when the snow starts falling.
