Route 4
Route 4 serving north 3rd Street and the area around the Cascade Village Shopping Center will see changes starting Monday, August 7, 2023. The changes are due to construction related to ODOT’s North Corridor Project, which is expected to last several years and reconfigure the major roadways on the north side of Bend.
Route 4 will continue to run every 45 minutes, with connections to other routes provided at Hawthorne Station.
The changes coming to Route 4 include:
- Starting where 3rd Street meets Empire Ave, the bus will now run a counter-clockwise loop. It will take Empire to Hwy 97, then onto Robal Rd, and back down Jamison St. It previously ran clockwise: from 3rd to Jamison, then Robal and back down Hwy 97.
- The stop on Robal Rd will move north across the street to a location near Target. The stop and shelter on the south side of the street will remain to serve Route 24, but Route 4 will no longer stop on the south side of Robal Rd.
- Stops along Jamison St will move west across the street. This includes the stop near the Sheriff’s office, at Halfway St (near FedEx), and at All Seasons RV.
- The stop at the ODOT Park & Ride near the DMV will be removed. Riders are encouraged to use the nearby stop at Burger King instead.
These changes are expected to be permanent given the construction taking place nearby. Temporary bus stop signage will be deployed starting Monday, August 7, until permanent furniture can be added.

La ruta 4 que da servicio a North 3rd Street y el área alrededor del centro comercial Cascade Village experimentará cambios a partir del lunes 7 de agosto de 2023. Los cambios se deben a la construcción relacionada con el Proyecto del Corredor Norte de ODOT, que se espera dure varios años y reconfigure la principal carreteras en el lado norte de Bend.
La ruta 4 seguirá funcionando cada 45 minutos, con conexiones a otras rutas proporcionadas en la estación Hawthorne.
Los cambios que vienen a la Ruta 4 incluyen:
